I photographed Jasmine’s maternity portraits during a beautiful golden hour at my favorite springtime location. I love how beautiful the fields look covered in the yellow bloom and it made for a perfect backdrop for this romantic maternity session. I look forward to the yellow mustard flowers blooming every year and only have about a 3-week window before they disappear in our dry California weather. I always give my clients few different locations to choose from so I was really happy that Jasmine chose the yellow mustard fields.
I know that it’s not easy to be photographed unless you’re a model of course 🙂 That’s why I try very hard to connect to my clients and make them feel comfortable with me and in front of my camera. I strive to make every session a great experience while I capture beautiful images for my clients.
This was our first time meeting in person, so just like a date we had to “break the ice” so to speak but within few minutes we started the shoot and had so much fun!
We did have to hike hills to get some shots and it was so worth it because the final images are amazing! Golden hour is one hour before sunset and the light is absolutely amazing during this time of the day. We finished the session with one more hike that paid off in a beautiful sunset backdrop for our last few shots.
